The Keystone Café, located on the corner of 5th and Lawrence streets in beautiful Eugene, Oregon is a family owned restaurant committed to excellent customer service and to providing the best nourishing and appetizing food available. We strive to serve a broad and diverse customer base. We are dedicated to providing a work environment based on planetary awareness, social consciousness, teamwork, respect and communication.
Established in 1979, The Keystone provides nourishing food in generous portions at reasonable prices, in an atmosphere that is warm and friendly, with inside and outside dining
We stock organically-produced ingredients whenever available and affordable. Currently this includes all of our flour (corn, rye, buckwheat, barley, spelt, whole wheat and white), oats, tempeh, tofu, beans, raisins, blueberries, sour cream, coffee, maple syrup, honey and cornmeal. We cook our own beans and rice, and make our own bread, English muffins, cornbread, salad dressings, pies, pancake batters, soups, chili, and salsa from scratch.
Avocado & Cream Cheese Omelette
There are no meat products or by-products used in our food unless specified. Our tortillas and chips are made locally, without lard. We also use locally produced granola.
Basil, Tomato & Feta Cheese Omelette
We strongly support the recycling of reusable resources.
The Keystone recycles paper, glass, metal, cardboard and plastics.
We compost our organic waste with the cooperation of local gardeners and livestock owners.
Now, The Keystone offers two of their own organic, home-made pancake mixes for sale, Buckwheat Barley and Oatmeal Sesame.
And, for the loyal Keystone supporter,
we offer hats and both long and short sleeve shirts.
